Regrets - I've had a few

Here are the instructions:There are some "rules" that go along with this tag - they are as follows:1) Call the memo "Regrets - I've Had A Few"2) Always refer (and link back) to the blogger who tagged you.3) Always tag (and link to) at least two new bloggers.4) List as many regrets as you like, but list a minimum of one (even if you have to re-interpret the term 'regret' because you feel strongly that you don't have any)5) Include these five rules in each post as the memo instructions

I've been tagged by Ruth (will have to work out how to link to her)

Well I have a few regrets. My biggest one is to do with my son. I regret ALOT of things in those few months but that is not for today.

I regret that hubby and I didn't do more travelling before starting a family. There are times when I think it would have been nice to see more of Europe especially. I did do an OE and saw most of Scotland and England but didn't go any further as I was travelling on my own. So much easier to travel without children. We will go to all those places we really want to see, but not until the girls are older and can understand and appreciate. I also regret that we hadn't paid off more of the mortgage!!!!!!!! LOL

I regret that I don't know how to link other peoples names. RUTHHHHHHHH help

So I tag Lianne and ummmmmmm everyone else I know that blogs has been tagged LOL

Summer is on its way

What a fantastic day we had today!!!!!!!!! The sun was so lovely and warm. Hubby was busy putting in the edging for the new garden and the girls were getting scratchy. So we got out the hose and sprinkler and let them go for it!!!!!!! They loved it, first sprinkler fun for this summer. Which of course led to me getting out my lovely camera and having a play. I had a canon rebel and usually just stick it on 'green for go' and start snapping. Lately I have started playing more. Just love it!!!!!!!!!! I will see if I can remember how to add a pic. Oh and BTW, the girls dressed themselves in their swimsuits. Its been so long that they left their knickers on and Jess went that step further and left her t-shirt on underneath. But they didn't care, they were having too much fun.

Dummy update

Well it has taken 5 nights!!!!!!! but she has finally taught herself how to fall asleep without her comfort sucker!!!!!!! Thursday was rough and she cried on and off until about 8pm. Tuesday wasn't too good either, she never asked for it but just had this really really sad look on her beautiful face. I almost rushed out to the Chemist and got a new one LOL. Almost!!!!! Only thing now is that we need to teach her how to roll over again and 5am and go back to sleep. These early mornings are starting to make me really tired LOL (read grumpy, just ask hubby) lol

Good bye dummy

Miss nearly 3 lost her dummy before bedtime tonight and I decided that I wasn't going to make a huge effort to help her find it. I could see it hiding under the beanbag. So off the bed she went without it. It took her an hour and a half to get to sleep, with just the odd grizzle but finally she is in sleepytime. Hope she doesn't go looking for it too much during the night. I have been waiting for such an opportunity to come along. Fingers crossed.

Its Monday again

This weekend has been very quiet. Not in noise, cause it has been guy fawkes and the sounds of firecrackers and skyrockets have echoed round the streets for the past two weeks. Saturday was an amazing display, despite the rain and high wind. We kept ours till last night and the girls thought it was fantastic.

No - I mean the weekend has been quiet as in what we have acheive and things we did. But it is nice to have a quiet, relaxing, bum around home weekend once in a while.

Well the FK awards of excellence were announced on the weekend and go Nic and Lianne. Your acheivements are just awesome. Nic with the ET and Lianne for your design award. You should both be very proud of yourselves. Love your work!!!!!!!!!!! Can't wait to catch up with Nic to hear all the goss from the weekend.

Shels blog challenge

Thanks for this Shell. mmmmmmmmmmmmmm

1. Name one productive thing you accomplished this past weekend. - painted some chips and cracks on the walls.
2. Name two things that you look forward to doing. - sleeping and going to crops.
3. Name three things that gross you out. - people biting finger nails or picking toe nails *shudder*, dirty toilets, and ants.
4. Name four things that you normally do on a daily basis. - get up, eat, check emails, walk.
5. Name five things that you own that you think you could get rid of and not miss. - OMG this one is hard, Titanic video and cd (so over that lol), bike, gardening gloves (if I could pay someone who knew the difference between weeds and plants lol), my leather jacket (it is sooooo 90s but holds a lot of memories), my old fiskars cutter (I am loving my new one).

Roll on next weeks challenge LOL

Cheeky is home again

After another day at the auto electricians. She now has another new battery (different brand) and the hope that she is now fixed. Those guys are so nice there and didn't even charge for their time today. Fingers crossed that we have now fixed the problem. Its very frustrating not knowing if the jeep will start when you turn the key.

On another topic. It is very quiet around here today. What with ISC on in Aussie and Nic and Evana enjoying themselves over there. My emails have been very quiet today. I even tried starting a rumour!!!!!! LOL
